On November 10th, 2016, we presented the project  at the 9th Scientifc Symposium of the German Millers Association VDM in Würzburg. This was an opportunity to discuss the main outcomes of FLOURplus in the context of other research projects of the cereal sector an to get feedback on the project approach from the point of view of the millers. It appeared clearly that ensuring an optimal flour functionality in modern applications requires the expertise of both the miller and the baker and that a deep collaboration is a key to success. Furthermore, data mining or production and quality data was considered to have a high potential to help making the right decisions in production.
